Summary

Russula roseicolor and R. decipiens are described from collections from Flanders (northern Belgium). Their ecology, distribution

and status in this region is discussed. R. roseicolor is a very rare species, only known with certainty from 1 site, where it grows in grassy, open forest lanes with Quercus robur. Russula decipiens is a rare, vulnerable species associated with Quercus (Q. robur, rarely Q. rubra), most often on sunny places in roadsides on not too poor sandy loam or loam. In several collections the dermatocystida are less voluminous, more slender and more often 1(-2) septate then described by Sarnari (1998), fitting better the concept of Keizer & Arnolds (1995) or R. britzelmayri ss. Reumaux (1996). However, we believe that the material in this region belongs to a single variable species.

Inleiding

In deze bijdrage van onze studie van het genus Russula in Vlaanderen gaan we dieper in op R. roseicolor en R. decipiens s.l. De werkwijze in dit artikel is dezelfde als in vorige bijdragen. Kleurencodes volgen Kornerup & Wanscher (1978). De microscopische tekeningen zijn gemaakt door Guy Le Jeune.
