   - Summary: the author first gives a historical survey concerning the mushroom Inocybe lacera. He further describes the macro- and microscopic features, the ditribution and the considerable variability of this common mushroom, according to his numerous personal observations, mainly made in the province of Antwerp (Belgium). Five explanatory figure plates are appended to the text.
